I offer online, one-to-one voice work sessions rooted in a holistic, brain-informed approach to breath and voice.

This work is not performance-based vocal training.
It is slow, grounding, and body-led — designed to help you relearn how your breath and voice work with you, not against you.

Performing professionally is demanding — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
In these settings we often overextend: we get carried by the moment, sing or speak longer than our voices are ready for, and push past our natural capacity. Over time, this leads to tension, fatigue, and injury. You can re-learn new healthy habits if you are willing to do the groundwork!

These sessions focus on laying the foundations:

    • Breath that supports rather than strains

    • A voice that feels easeful, controlled, and enjoyable

    • Releasing unnecessary tension

    • Building sustainable vocal habits for performing, practicing, and speaking

The work is gentle and non-performative. We explore sound, breath, and awareness — teaching the body to trust the voice again, so you can sing and speak freely, without force.

These sessions are suitable for weekly coaching.

Sessions are delivered online. Prices shown are exclusive of VAT where applicable.

  • 90 minutes · Online · £150

This is not a beginner session and not a traditional vocal lesson.
It is a focused voice health consultation for professional voice users — actors, singers, worship leaders, and public speakers — who rely on their voice as an instrument.

This session is designed for moments when you need an expert check-in: space to assess how your voice is functioning right now, address strain or stagnation, and realign your practice with what your body and voice actually need.

Over 90 minutes, we work through the voice as a whole system:

    • Body warm-up and physical readiness

    • Breath and support patterns

    • Voice connection and resonance

    • Tension release and ease

    • Identifying imbalances, blockages, or compensations

We move through every major aspect of the voice to help open and rebalance the instrument, offering clear, practical insight into your current level and vocal habits.

This is not a session focused on repertoire, performance, or vocal display.
You do not need to prepare anything.
You come exactly as you are.

    The intention is to:

    • Clarify where you are vocally right now

    • Identify underlying issues before they turn into injury

    • Gain perspective on how you are using your voice across work, ministry, or performance

    • Map out next steps for sustainable practice and long-term vocal health

Many clients use this as a periodic check-up — a way to recalibrate, restore freedom, and reconnect with a voice that feels supported, responsive, and trustworthy.

This session is suitable once every second month, or whenever you need it. If you want artistic input on your performing practice and frequent coaching with me, see “ARTIST COACHING”.

Sessions are delivered online. Prices shown are exclusive of VAT where applicable.

  • Long-term · Online · By application

Artist Mentoring is a selective, long-term collaboration for professional vocalists who are ready to work deeply with their repertoire, voice, and artistic calling.

This is not a one-off session and not a problem-solving consultation.
It is ongoing mentorship, where I am personally invested in you, your voice, and your journey.

We work over a minimum commitment of six months, allowing space for:

    • Repertoire work and interpretation

    • Sustainable vocal development

    • Artistic direction and identity

    • Integration of voice, body, and calling

    • Support through demanding seasons of performance or recording

This work is by application or recommendation only.
I take on a very limited number of mentoring clients at any given time to ensure depth, presence, and continuity. It is a mutual relationship which is built upon trust, integrity, and supporting your vision for yourself.

    If accepted, we will discuss:

    • Structure and frequency

    • Scope of work

    • Commitment expectations

    • Financial investment

    How to apply

Artist Mentoring is offered on a by-application or recommendation basis.

If you feel drawn to this work and sense that you are ready for a long-term, committed mentoring relationship, you are welcome to apply.

The application helps me understand your voice, your context, and your intentions — and helps ensure that this work is right for you at this stage.

If your application is aligned, you will be invited to a private conversation where we can explore fit, structure, and commitment together.

    [Apply for Artist Mentoring]

Applications are reviewed personally. Due to the nature of this work, not all applications will be accepted. Financial details are discussed once mutual fit and readiness are established.

Training & Background

I hold a BA in Jazz Voice from Royal College of Music and an MA in Jazz Voice from Royal Academy of Music.

My pedagogical training includes LRAM (Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music) in Pedagogy, as well as Estill Voice Training Level 1 & 2, with a particular focus on healthy, sustainable voice use.

My work integrates formal vocal training with embodied, trauma-informed approaches to breath and voice, shaped by years of professional voice use and one-to-one work with singers, worship leaders, and public voice users.

My Approach to Voice Work & Artistic Freedom

Embodied

Body, breath, and voice are treated as one integrated system.
We work with the whole body to allow the voice to express emotional depth with ease and integrity, rather than forcing sound from isolated technique.

Personal

Your voice work is shaped around who you are.
Singing is a deeply personal and spiritual process, and each individual has their own rhythm, history, and way of learning. This work honours your unique process with care, respect, and attention.

Reflective & Grounded

Presence comes before performance.
We prioritise connection, internal freedom, and truthful sound over output or display. The aim is not to sound impressive, but to feel supported, centred, and clear in your voice.

Trauma-Informed

The breath and voice respond directly to stress and trauma.
I work specifically with performance anxiety and trauma-related tension in the breath and voice box, helping the nervous system release protective patterns so the voice can function freely and safely.
